Anyone have any ideas on how to get a collet unstuck? The collet nut just slips over the collet groove and will not pull it out what a crappy design. I only have one collet nut and 2 collets so I have been changing the nut back and forth now it is so loose it won't grip to pull the collet. I may try a new nut but with the collet installed I don't think it will go on and if it does I doubt it will pull the collet out. I have broke the bit that was in it trying to work it loose. I have tried everything I can think of to get it out. I chucked it in the lathe jaws to try and get a grip on the small edge of the collet to work it free but it just slips off, there is not enough contact.

I had to pull the PC router out of my manual router table to complete some work. I am fed up with the Milwaukee if I ever get the collet unstuck it will be for sale with the mount. I guess it is time for a spindle.
