I am attaching a couple of pics of the results from my experimentation and I am not at all happy with the results. It is approx. 10"x11" and I cut it with a 1/8th" ballnose. It took 5 hours to complete. To my untrained eye here is what i think is wrong. I should have cropped out the busy background of leaves around the statue. I should have made it taller as opposed to wider. Brought the statue and base in closer to fill the screen in the foreground as opposed to having it in the background. It seems to have lost a lot of detail because of its proximity within the picture. Anyone else have any good advice? Thanks

Jack.
You are right it is a very busy scene. What program did you run it on?
I use Photo V Carve for most of mine. It looks like you should have used a 1/16 ballnose for the detail. Sheck out these www.cncartworks.com/Lithophanes.html (http://www.cncartworks.com/Lithophanes.html)
The wedding one at the end took about 11 hours but the results were fine. Be sure that when you look at your Litho its always Head on at 3+ feet away, and don't focus on the cut, focus on the entire image.
