nice job Erminio,,,,what did you make it from?
Is it for an office?
kind of tall for a house?

Dave
Thanks
It is for a home. They have a family room with 16' ceiling sloping down to 8'.
The owner is an author of French food/design with tons of books.
The center middle section is for a TV.
Doors below.
It will have a Putnam Ladder.
It is mainly shop maple ply/poplar mouldings.
The fluting is MDF.
Luigi did all the cutting!
Good thing I'm no longer afraid of heights

Now for their kitchen....I hope!

Erminio, I am wondering,,,,did ou assemble it there? 3 sections?
That is huge. Do you have a photo showing more detail?

Dave

I installed it by myself,so I designed it in manageable sections.
There are 9 main sections.
3 Bases/3 mid sections/ 3 upper sections
The top sections were the real challenge.
The fluting covers the joints.

I'll have more details after the piece gets painted

excellent Erminio.
Did you make the doors or are they RTF?

Wow that is very nice. Now you need to explain to them you need to make them one of those "library ladders" that rolls on a track to get way up there.

Thanks

Dave
The doors are from Waltzcraft.
Poplar stiles and rails with MDF center panels.

Jack the ladder is on the way.It will be maple to match the floors. It is not a rolling ladder, but a hook and rail with antique bronze hardware from
Putnam ladders in NYC.
