A nice little recess.

this is a box with holes for audio components. one of the countersinks was round but the power connected had a recessed nut. so it was not hard in vcarve to make this cut. I used a 1/8" bit and I made very slight exposed drill holes to keep the corners of the nuts from hitting. here is the preiview and the actual cut.

I forgot the way to get the right size is the measure the nut and make a circle the right size make a hex shape then shrink it to fit. make drill holes that are the right size for the bit and just have them centered on each corner then move them in till just a tiny bit is past each corner. here is a dxf fine showing it.
