I know this has been mentioned before and I had a need for it and at the same time, a little time away from the shop so did some research and found this little Sketchup plugin that allows Sketchup 3d models to be exported to the 3DS format that can be imported right into Partworks.

I have tried it on a few projects and it works great. I was able to create toolpaths and save sbp files for execution. It's not free but less than $200 and you get a fully functioning free trial period so give it a whirl if you like sketchup. Speaking of Sketchup, there is a new version sketchup7 with some pretty cool and very easy to use/learn features.
Just thought someone might be interested.
