I've had error problems lately between VCarve Pro and my shopbot. The first line of most of the files I'm saving is; MS,1.0,0.0.

When I load them to cut I get an error that reads Parameter below lowest value (0.05). When I edit them and make then MS 1.0,0.05 or a greater value the program runs fine.

I'm no computer wizard but I'm assuming that's the axis move speeds. The preview in VCarve seem to be fine and the error only occurs when actually cutting.

I just recently upgraded to VC4.5 and the latest SB download and that's when the problem started.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Robert,

Check your tool speed setting in the VC4.5 database.

I bet you will find the trouble there.

Look at the Z speed.

Robert,
Ed is correct. I had the same problem and if I recall my feed rate was 3" per min. It should have been 3" per second.

When I assign a tool to a path I check all of he speeds (mostly I use the suggested speeds) and there seems to be no problem?

The inches/minute is the problem, change to inches/second and it will work. as mentioned above. This always slips by as it looks reletively the same in the software.
