We're currently doing a large addition to the Destiny, a spacecraft that we built last year for the new series Stargate Universe.
Virtually every interior surface (the exterior is all C/G) was cut, or sculpted on one of our two Shopbot Alphas.
Also, because of the complexity of the build, most of the framing members which you can't see were done on the Shopbots.
Having these machine in-house has absolutely revolutionized the way we design and build sets and props on our shows.
Although the Destiny is the most complex build we've done so far, the 'Bots were also instrumental on Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis.
We also get other shows ( Battlestar Gallactica, X-Men, Sanctuary etc.), knocking on our door to see how we do things around here.
Some stills and video of the ship can be seen here http://stargate.mgm.com

Hi Boyd, I'm just down the street from you, botting away. I'm about to start work on Sanctuary, V, and some others, for White Monkey. Doing props. Say Hi to Barry Ward for me. If you guys ever get into trouble, please call me, maybe I can help with some insane deadline.

cheers, Jon

Hey Jon!
What department is Barry in, do you mean Barry in makeup?
I've only been on the show for fifteen years... still only know half the crew by their first names.

I love those shows, neat to know you are making the sets with CNC.
