I needed a smaller lumber cart. my tilt cart is wide enough I can't alway get it past the cars parked in the basement. so I borrowed the idea and got this little sucker. it is about 15" wide 48" long and about 50" high. it uses one sheet of 3/4" plywood and 4 good wheels 2 swivel two straight and a handful of screws. it took me less then 3 hours to draw it up cut it and build it. though I wanted to sand it first I wanted to get home. so included in the post is the vcarve file I used. I had to add extra blocks for the wheels so plan for that. I put the bottom brace too low and I fixed that in the drawing. I also made the front and back cover pieces too small and I fixed that. but I forgot to fix the deck it is a little long in front. but thats easy to fix on the tablesaw.

plus its cheap to make. the wheels cost me 57 with lag bolts but other then a sheet of ply and screws it was cheap. I would add a couple of extra strips of wood on the bottom and get the full deck size out of it. but I ran out of plywood.
I think another bar in the middle would be good for smaller stock.
I just drew this up 2d and hoped it all worked. almost perfect. only the bottom rail and the deck was off. it was easy to fix it.
the ply is .71 so plan for that on the mortises.

How about.....on the next model.

Adding two 2X6 on the bottom that swivel out. These become out-runners but only when you need them (casters on the end). Then you can incorpoate the tilt feature.

now you got me thinking. it may only need one set to do the job. but it would need to be built stronger though. but that's not too hard.
the outriggers may not even need wheels since once you tilt it it may not need moved.
I think they would need to swing down and lock.
