Closet organizer

I would like to build a closet organizer on a wall 14 feet long 3 feet deep. I intend the organizer to be open the entire length, not hidden by any doors. Looked over a lot of plans and now I'm more confused about the layout.

Any ideas you folks can share or, photos, links?
