Resetting Administrator rights?

I recently got a new computer running Windows7 and i found a free app that lets you view stl files in a small viewer however to be able to install it I have to log in as administrator and i have no clue how to do that?

How do i log in as administrator? It doesn't give me that option at startup only to log in as the user i set up originally.

Is it WinXP. Try Ctrl-Alt-Del at the login screen to get another screen where you can type the username. The only thing is that you have to know the administrator's password.

Jack If you right click on the exe file one of the choices should be run as administrator
or you can go into user accounts in the control panel and give yourself administrative rights.
