I have some rather large drawings that I cut duplicate parts out of a sheet 200-400 parts is there a way to choose the same vector in each part without going by hand and choosing them one at a time?

Thanks Mike

Mike...
When I do this, I start with the single part and put each vector on a separate layer (and color, but not required). When this is done for all vectors or vector types, the vectors are grouped and either block copied or nested.

After nesting, I ungroup all. Then when I toolpath, I have the layer that I want visible in the layer manager, right click and chose "select all on layer", type in my toolpath settings and calc the toolpath.

Mike - another trick to remember once you start doing layers is that they don't necessarily have to line up. I for instance am doing a job this week where I'm actually cutting out 8 shhets of material. All the sheets are almost totally different but are related to the same basic set of parts. I copy form layer to layer, hide the other layers, and then do my cutouts from there. I also use Gary's method and each layer is associated with a particular tool path and most cases a specific tool. Once you get used to layers its a very powerful and useful tool. Russ
