I have a Buddy standard using PartWorks for design software. I have always used the (arcs)(inch) postprocessor for creating toolpaths assuming that it is the best one when any curves are involved.

My question is when, if ever, is the (inch) postprocessor better to use than the (arcs)(inch) one? And if I choose the (inch) processor when fonts or curves are involved will my cuts be screwed up?

In the past, I have had some files where the fonts were not smooth and looking back, I wonder if I may have chosen the wrong post processor.

Dennis...
The "inch" postP is used for older versions of the software AND when toolpathing extruder files that end up with curved segments in the Z.
