DXF Files?

I need help understanding and aquiring software that can scan a signture and transpose to machine code(EIA).And is this possible?

sorry Bruce, but I dont think many of us with "bots" use EIA file typing.

There are a host of ways to get a signature (bitmap) to dxf.

in fact the software that comes bundled with the shopbot has a very easy to use "map vectors to bitmap" function. It is essentially VcarvePro from Vectric.
