I draw and toolpath all my parts in Partworks I have always used shopbot inch processor Shopbot (inch) (*.sbp). When would you want to use the shopbot (arcs) (inch) (*.sbp) processor? Do you use the arcs processor when you are cutting a lot of arcs in the X&Y directions or is it more for cutting arcs in the Z direction? What is the advantage of either of them?
Thanks Mike

Mike...
The "inch Arcs" post uses G code arcs to do a radius cut instead of hundreds of small straight segments. This applies to X & Y moves, not Z, I believe. Cut quality and speed should improve with that post over the "inch". My only present use for the "inch" post is to generate "pre" files for the extruder.

Michael - I use the (arcs) (inch) for everything that I do. You should definitely switchover to arcs.

Thanks for the info I made some parts today with the arcs and they look good my radius parts seem like they have better finish.
