I just wanted to give a big THANKS!!!! - to ShopBot & Staff for doing such an excellent job with the Jamboree. The venue was perfect - not too big to be cold - not too small to be crammed. The speakers did an excellent job of bringing their expertise and perspective in many areas that affect all of us 'Botters', enabling everyone to walk away with 'a little somethin' helpful and/or inspiring.

It was great to put a face with a name and interact with all of the participants - sharing ideas, solutions and above all else - camaraderie. We're all sort of in this thing together & it's hard not to feel part of something special around so many talented, and openly giving people. This is what I think really makes ShopBot special - It comes with a community that money can't buy.

It was also fun to see how others were using the Bot in new and exiting ways - Everything from really neat furniture and signs to complete buildings framed up with CNC components. Not to mention - the big debut of the ShopBot Tyro - definitely a sweet little machine that's got uber-portability.

Thanks!!!

I concur with everything that has been said to this point. I described to my wife that the Shopbot community seems more like I belong to a fraternaty with women gladly included in it. I appreciated hearing the presentations made by the fellow Shopbotters. I learn so much from fellow Shopbotters but also from fellow business owners.

Thanks to all but especially the entire Shopbot team. I can't believe they had to do the Maker Fair after sooooo much effort they put forth to make and awesome Jamboree. You all are the BEST!!!!!

I've just returned from an excellent ShopBot Jamboree where Ted,
Martha and their Team presented us with 2 fabulous cakes to
commemorate the Queen's Award that Vectric has just won :).

The event was certainly the best I've attended and it was a pleasure
meeting so many happy and positive customers.

See you all next year!

Tim Merrill was busy last week carving these beautiful plaques
to commemorate the Award on his ShopBot. The large plaque
shown below is from a piece of spalted - figured cherry 13" wide
by 18" high and is for the Vectric office.

Tim also carved special plaques for Brian, Mark & myself using
curly maple inlayed into a walnut base.

The Vectric Team wish to thank Tim for presenting us with such
magnificent pieces of art that will look great in the office and be
a permanent reminder of the achievement :)

Ted and the Shopbot family, we had a great time and appreciate the hard work you guys put into the Jamboree. It was a fantastic experience.

Tony and the Vectric guys congrats! I meant to tell you in person but with so much activity it was hard to keep up with things. You did a great job and your software is phenominal.

Jon and the Maker Faire folks, I hope we were not too much trouble for you guys. The Faire was a positive event for all involved.

We are looking forward to whatever is next.
