The CAD drawing is how this sign should look, but when I V-carved the sign it is not right. Both the graphics and the lettering are affected. Please see attached images. I have never had this problem before and I have no idea why its happening now. Thanks for any help you can give.

looks like the depth is off and you are cutting too fast or the rpms are too slow causing the sloppy cuts or the wood is moving. or the bit is dull.

My first guess is the bit is not exactly what was specified in the toolpath. Possibly you programed for a 90deg bit and it's not truely 90, or programmed for one bit and mistakenly used another. Check that the tool parameters really match the tool.

I agree with Ken, looks like you are using a bit with a smaller included angle than what you specified when you created the toolpath.

Or possibly you selected that pesky "named 60 degree" bit that had 90 degrees as its angle in the tool database
what font is that?
the guys are right, it's a bit programming problem.

Have you checked the Z init values, are they the same as when you've machined other similar tool paths?
If you are using the correct bit, and the init value used before has been changed inadvertently, the machine will route deeper into the material.
My software has to have a zero value in Z at the top of the material. A few thou under zero and the bit goes deeper, similar to the photo.

Problem solved! The 60-degree bit I used from the bit database had the wrong geometry data entered. Thank you all for your input, It helped to identify the problem. Robert the font is Rosewood Std regular.

Robert,
I think the font is called Goldrush.
