This is the first of at least three different sideboards I will be doing. They are influenced by Chinese antiques.

very elegant design and workmanship! will you be using the Chinese antique influence on them all? that's a really nice touch. looking forward to seeing pictures of the rest of the sideboards. great job!

thanks everyone , Mike , the wood is sap maple , the next one will be in cherry. Oil finish.
The next two will be Chinese influence as well.These are all retail products. I do these in between wholesale work , steady but not well paying.

Erminio , they were all cut out in the panel you see. Done in artcam , 1/4" end mill , area clear.

Stephen - beautiful work - one question - was there much sanding required before finsihing - seems this would be very tedious to clean up.

Don , it wasn't as bad as you might thing. I used a carveing burr to clean up the grill work. Took about 20 min. for each grill.
