I see the lines:

********************
'load the custom variables file from Custom Cut 90
C#, 90
********************

In the zzero.sbp program file. I cannot find any documented reference to this. Is it new? Does it have any any other forms? Are there any other undocumented commands that might be useful?

Regards,
Brett C. Cammack

Brett,

C# refer to custom cut command. In the above case, custom cut (C) #90 is called, which refer to My_variables.sbc (all your variables like your Z plate thickness) I believe.

Everything about commands is available from the help menu of SB3 and/or 'C:\Program Files\ShopBot\Developer Tools\Docs\' and 'C:\Program Files\ShopBot\ShopBot 3\Help\' folders...

Fell free to ask any specific questions...

Seems like it's not in the documentation pointed to by the editor, but *is* in the documentation pointed to by the PartWizard. Rather confusing to the newcomer.

Thanks for the pointer.

Hey Brett,

Since ShopBot commands can only be 2 characters followed by parameters, "C#" is used for Custom cuts who's numbers are double digits....the custom cut number becomes the parameter after the comma. So any custom cut that's greater than "C9" is written "C#,??", with the ??'s being the custom cut number.
