Very, very Nice,
What type of materials, and how long did they take to cut ?
Speeds & feeds ?

I tend to do most of my 3D cutting at XY=5ips and Z=3ips
The Bear/turkey was carved in a poplar glue-up. Material is 9.25x27.625x1.3. The design depth is 0.75. Rough with a 1/4" end mill. Finish with a 1/8" ballnose. Total carve time was about 160 minutes.
The Sheep/Lion was carved in Red Oak : 30x5.5x.70
Roughing pass: 1 hr with 1/4" ballnose
Finish: 5 hrs 30 minutes with a 1/16" ballnose at 8% stepover
Randall,
I'm glad you're in SD and not here. That is exactly the type of work I advertise to my customer base here.

As most of the 3-d tool moves I assume are rather short in distance traveled, do you save much time by bumping up the speeds to 5 ips ?
Does the machine ever get close to moving that fast on a 3-d cut file ?

I've tweaked the ramp values for 3D work. On certain flat areas I can get the higher speeds.
