hey guys,

new to the shopbot forum. i am a print maker so i only use my shopbot about twice a year. but i have just got word that my board has two bad "cards" (the small cards that control each axis). the repair is beyond my means at the moment. but i need it to work immediately for a few orders.

is there any board repair person, or does anyone one have an old pre-4g board that some cards can be salvaged from? or can aftermarket 5 axis controller board kits be used for this machine? i've seen entire 5 axis controllers, plus 5 new motors are available.

thank you for any help you can provide.

attached is a pic of the board needing repaired.

Allen,

I can't help on a board repair, but i am in the houston area and could help you get through a job if need be. You can email me through my web site if you want to talk.

I have a good board repair guy. I have used him many times. Not on anything shopbot but on other things. Most often he can fix it. Just throwing that out there. Message me if you are interested.
