Very nice, a rustic but polished finish is hard to pull off.
I've known at least 6 horses over the years named Bella.

Like you I often use old and discarded lumber for my signs. Shhhhh, this is a well kept secret. There's plenty of aged lumber laying around free for the taking.

The sign was for a friend of mine in Chicago.His wife named the horse and she just passed away.
Joe you're right.I just found a pile of old pallets.Most old ones are made up of various hardwoods.Cleaning and denailing is a pain.
I bet you didn't know you were a "Green" sign maker!
