it is this special paper that goes between a vac table and the material. it lets you cut out super small parts without them coming loose or the need for tabs.

I just wonder if we have enough vacuum and make enough heat. but I may buy some to try it out.

yes expensive. but it may work well for some things. like aluminum since with heat everything I have stuck to it has come loose.

$7 for over 1,500 sq in. ?

That's a pittance if it works for cutting all the --tiny-- brass parts I've been doing.

Have to look into this.

I have cut copper that I finally epoxied to a board. that worked ok but could still come loose. so I will buy some of this for those jobs.

Steve,
$0.75/sq ft is dirt cheap...Especially if you are now able to take on jobs that you couldn't pull off without it.

Maybe you aren't charging enough for your services?

the price I was going by the guy who told me. he goofed up when he saw it.
it is cost effective I may have been able to d oa job I turned down with it. but they guy was pushing and lowballing the price so I really did not want it anyway.

after talking to the vender it takes heavy duty vacuum to use it and high rpm;s to make the heat. usually about 22k
