I was playing around the last few days. This shark is made out of EPS foam and coated with epoxy. The bottom part is flat to be fix on the wall of my son's room. Hope you like it. I still need to paint it.

Cool!
EPS as in "bead board"? Like styrofoam cooler material?
What type and brand of epoxy did you use? Where did you get the epoxy? Thanks for posting.

Very nice shark. How long did it take to cut?

John.
Yes it is eps foam from Lowes. The white stuff. The epoxy is from West Marine. I learn that I'm very allergic to that stuff. I turn into a lobster (red all over my skin) after the fist coat.
Nils.
The total time was about 3.5 hrs. Including the epoxy. I used a 3/8 ball end mill and an 1/2 " for the roughing.

JR,
What is the name of that board? I didn't see anything the last time I was at Lowes (on College near my house or did you go to Monkey Junction?). Tell me more about the epoxy. Did the epoxy fill in the gaps around the beads or is that not an issue? I will paint for you if you are allergic.
