Anyone know if and how much shop bot sells replacement dust collector foot? After bashing it around the first couple years I feel comfortable enought to purchase a new one for prs alpha.
Thanks, Dave

Dave

I have one not being used. You can have it if you want it. Just pay for whatever the shipping is. Send me an email and I will send you a picture of it.

I made a custom replacement for mine.

I would suggest throwing the stock one in the garbage and either make one or buy one from Gary Campbell. I have one of Gary's dust foot for the bot and it is so much faster to adjust and picks up at least 40% more debris. I have one of the stock ones you can have also.

Whoever has a stock dust foot that wants to get rid of it, please reply here and I will send you info/money.

I would love to have one of Gary's, but last I knew he didn't have any left, also probably couldn't afford one of his now.

Guys...
Don Thomson has purchased the cutting files and materials for the dustfoot and air operated clamp. Since I dont have a machine that they fit on, it seemed to make sense to get these to someone that could both improve and test them. Give him a bump and see if he is in production yet.

The one thing that could be done to make Gary's kit a little cheaper is to use a toggle clamp rather than the little air cylinder.

We're still in the market for a dust foot for our PRT. I think the next time I so much as look at my dust foot, it might just disintegrate!

New, used, NOS, After-market, or heck...even we'll even go for FREE! What-cha got?

please try Kentcnc for his split-shoe . I have one and like very much . very well made up and works good and he supports it by selling replacement brush material. i have very little time using it but impressed over the stock foot. steveO

I have Kent CNC shoe up and running and I love It, Will not ever go back to the ShopBot one.
I think that ShopBot should go to this kind of dust shoe.

I will sell the old 1 for $50.00 like new and shipping

only if you have your z mounted to the back holes. mine is in the middle and I could not use it Plus the spring bracket gets in the way.
