Hi to all, this is my first post on this forum, being reading a lot. I am looking for Trupan ultralite and might have found something in the Portland Maine area, the supplier is Atlantic plywood.
The question that I have is, has anyone bought any from them, is it the original Trupan from Chili that so many shopbotter's are talking about.
I'm from Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada it's between Montreal and Quebec city it's going to give quiet a run to buy it but if you know a closer place to buy the original, I will appreciate your info.
Thank You

Marcel...
If it is "TRUPAN" then it is inkjet printed onto the edges.

I've heard of a number of East Coast Shopbotters getting Trupan from different Atlantic Plywood distributors, and so far it's been the real thing. As Gary points out it WILL say "Trupan" on EACH sheet, (and 18mm for the "3/4'", etc.)

I tried to buy from them (I'm in Waterville, Maine) but my contact, Tom Cyr, said that they don't sell direct to the public. I wound up purchasing from a local vendor who does business with Atlantic Plywood in Portland and received a Trupan knock-off (doesn't have the label) that was shipped up from Rhode Island.

I contacted Rob Simonsen of Tumac Lumber (manufacturers of Trupan) and was given this contact as the nearest distributor to Maine:

Charlie Dionisio
Connecticut Plywood

(860) 463-9676 (mobile)
charlie@connply.com

I haven't contacted Mr. Dionisio yet as I intend to try the alternative product from Atlantic Ply first.

In the northeast, Industrial Plywood has two locations in Pennsylvania. I got their number from the individual that imports Trupan into the country and this is where those of us here in Pittsburgh buy from.
