Displays in San Fransisco

Here are a few Pictures of an industrial for PayPal at the Moscone Center. All parts were cut on my Bot for Island Creative. The material is a corrugated cardboard called Tricel. It has a posterboard type cardboard on each face.

For the large x panels by the escalator, how many panels were used to make the display? Great looking display, very impressive. Russ

There were quite a few. 611 different parts, some multiples of the same part. Many were a half an inch bigger than the last.

Nice job! That's quite impressive. How long did it take to fabricate? How many people worked on it?

It was a group effort. It took a draftsman quite a while to come up with the finals. I got the drawings and ten days later, had it all cut. I had Island pick up parts almost daily, which they took to their shop to assemble, cover with graphics, etc. They had about 5 to 10 people working on it. I usually would be there to work on it as well, but somebody had to run the bot.

Thanks, guys, for all the positive comments. For this group, the new thing is using a Bot to cut things quickly and accurately. I am getting them used to the idea. David
