Measure Tool Question

Is there anyway to have the guideline created by the measure tools not disappear when I select a vector? I want to use the measure tool to find an angle and then align a vector to it.

Jim,

If you are asking about Partworks/V-Carve Pro or Aspire you can very accuractly draw a line at a specified angle and length using the Create Polyline tool.

You can also draw a straight line and with it selected, choose rotate and give it a specific angle to rotate. I think Tims way is faster, but it depends on what software you have.

I never thought about setting the angles etc. as I drew the line, I always drew the line then positioned it into place. This approach is much better.
