The first of five free models we are giving away (this week) is available now!
If you got to the home page http://www.vectorart3d.com (http://www.vectorart3d.com/) then look for the Free Gift link. Then it will take you to the download page.
The models will only be downloadable until midnight EST each day. Then a new one will be made available by 9am EST each morning. New model each with the last one on the 24th Dec.
We hope you enjoy these, I figured as this was not selling anything that posting in the general section of the forum made sense.
Cheers,
James

Don,
With Aspire you should have downloaded the .stl or .v3m file format, with .v3m highly recommended.
Then start a project with Aspire and use the Import command to bring the model into Aspire. You can find the Import command under the File pull down menu (File>Import Component/3D model) or the right most icon in the top row of icon in the File Operations section. Hover the mouse pointer over the icon and it will say 'Import a component or 3D model'.
Let us know.
The .v3v file is a preview file to use with the free viewer you can download from the VectorArt3D website. It is written by Vectric and you can use it to see what the model looks like before importing it. Really makes life easier as you build up a collection of 3D models, so I recommend downloading those also.

Erminio-The only dumb question is the one you don't ask!!!!!
Which file to download depends on your software. The EPS will be a 2-d vector file useful for defining the relief borders and choosing areas to possibly machine differently than others. The STL files are pretty universal to 3-d software programs and are basically a wire mesh of triangles defining the relief shape. They can be imported not only into Artcam or Vectric software but also many others. The RLF files are strictly for Delcam 3-d software and the others are for Vectric and Tim answered that very well in detail.
Thanks for the files James-One thing for sure-All who know you know they will never get chiseled. LOL
