Just getting started in signs & CNC

I am thinking about making signs for a golf course and I am not sure what kind of material to use being that theses will be out in the weather. I had in mind useing a 1/2" poly board but like I say this is my first venture and I am not sure of my choice.

Many have used Color-core for this.

I am just getting started as a new-be also and was wondering the same about outdoor material. Thanks for the info, I will try it. I am hoping to get some test cuts done this weekend, I have lots of ideas of projects but its going to take some time to get the feel for my ShopBot. Cant wait to make some dust... :) Rob Gunn
