a message I got from Ecuador

just got a note from the gentleman that bought my PRS Alpha.....

it appears his electrician swapped the 220 and the 110 on the control box...

any thoughts as to how bad this might be.. ??

would he have fried the main board...??

he figures a couple of the drivers are cooked...

This happened very often in Ecuador I know about 4 machines with the same issue I guess the electricians are the issue over there :(

Check fuses...The one incoming and there should be one on each driver.

I have been visiting with him and the fuses didn't blow. That was my first thought.

I don't think the incomming fuses would have smoked, but I had him pull the cover off of the drivers and told him where the fuse was. He said they checked out ok.

I think he smoked the drivers from the sounds of it. He is sending them in to get them checked out.
