I made an offer for the PRT that was on woodweb, and got it... its coming from Michigan, the way the storms and snow is this winter across the northern part of this continent, it may be spring before it gets here.
I have been scanning the pages of the forum, lots of the old cohorts names seem to be missing, guess I have a lot of catching up to do...cheers all...Dan

congrats on the sweet deal. A 48x96 CNC router for the price of a tablesaw is a good thing  Hope everything goes well setting it up and getting it running.

I've got a PRT Alpha 96. Awesome machine. Well when I'm not trying to set it on fire anyway. :) I would have had a PRS, but I didn't know it was coming when I placed the order for the PRT. *shakes fist at the Gods of Timing*

Hi Dan, don't know if you remember me, but you were very instrumental in my cnc education many moons ago.
I am so glad to see you back and delving into a previous passion of ours. Unfortunately our roles seem to have reversed. I am out in Fort McMurray, AB plying my trade, while my baby (PRT96), wife and kids are back in ON. I only get back periodically. Last trip home was at Christmas and was purely maintenance on the baby. Didn't get to cut a single file. I am hoping my next trip home in March will allow time for making chips!

I know your knowledge and experience will once again benefit those of us who strive to attain a certain level of "craftmanship".

Once again, WELCOME BACK!!!

Feel free to email me if you want to chat offline.

Perry
