here was a fun project for the wife who has been begging for a stool. the plywood is marine mahogany and is not the best choice but I have a lot of scrap so it was practical. it splinters way too bad on the face and the edges. I wanted to put a v cut to separate the legs but it won't fit in my band saw. a few more coats of finish on it this is only the first.

I like it. Simple with the router yes, but not so if cut by hand.

a bear to sand it though. I kept the shape simple just because of that. I have not tested it but it is 14" wide and about that tall. with a little effort you can go pretty crazy with this method. but it is not cheap to make it though that's the downside.

my wife is blind and she is not picky she will be very happy with it. I have no pressures to make things perfectly since I seldom do.
