I have been trying to buy American made, these folks are in Michigan

I have cut hundreds of feet with there 1/16 and 1/8 2 flute end mills and ball mills with great results. They stay sharp for a very long time and the prices are really very good. They also have a full line of other cutters at off sale prices, with great discounts if bought together.

How do you hold a 1/8 or smaller bit on the router?
Mine came with a 1/2 and a 1/4 collets only. Not sure if there is a smaller size available. I have seen sleeve adapters, never used them.

You said "router". Many 1/8" cutters come with a 1/4" shank. You can also get an insert for larger PC collet to use smaller diameter bits. (search Porter Cable 1/8 collet adapter)
For spindles collets are available in many sizes.

I will never go back to using the OEM collets that came with my PC router.

Those look pretty nice-so nice I may get a set for my router table router.
That means despite a tooth extraction today is a good day-I learned something!!
