Fonts in use

I just stumbled on this website... http://fontsinuse.com/ ...that shows mostly printed things like ads and book covers and then lists the fonts that were used in them. Though not directly sign-specific it may offer some insights and inspiration.

WhatTheFont makes a nifty app for the iPhone. Snap a picture of some text and the app tells you what font it is. It's magic.
