Router contacts

I have a PRTAlpha(2004). For the past couple of years I have had trouble with the router contacts not working properly. They will be working fine then I get ready to start another file and then they don't work. Whats really wierd is that I can wait a little while and then they're fine for a while. I've tried contact cleaner but that doesn't seem to help much. Any of you guys had a similar problem?

Hi Kip,

I have a PRT Alpha that is around 2006 vintage, it had the same problem with the contactors not pulling in all the time. I heard that ShopBot had gotten some bad contactors so I called them and they replaced them for free. You may want to call ShopBot and talk with them. Mine was still under warranty at the time.
