Wraing text around a curve

I am using Aspire 2.5 and was upgraded to Aspire 3. I am wanting to put text on a dome shape. The text does good in the middle but at the ends it is out of the wood. Any body got an idea how to do that.

with out the crv file it is hard to "see" what you are doing, i am not sure if you can post a .crv file here, have you posted this on vectrics forum?

Maybe a better way to explain what I am donig is, putting a name on one side of a ball.

Make sure when setting up the toolpath that you have PROJECT TOOLPATH ONTO 3D MODEL checked ON before you calculate the toolpath. From your description you do not have this checked.

project toolpath is good if you are toolpathing (vcarve, profile etc.) yet if you are trying to "model" a text in 3d as part of the model. the crv file will show what you are missing. i modeled this in a minute or so, is this what you are trying to achieve?
