As of now I have on the way a retro kit to change my 48x48 PRS standard into a 96x48 plus a E-Chain kit for the x axis... So I want to change up my Dust hose routing...
I have seen in some Pics on here a "Ball Socket" that mounts to the ceiling that follows the the Y car per say... Where are these Avail.??
Thank You

I like the overhead arm better. you use less hose so get better airflow and less sagging hose. Plus you can have fun with it.

I agree Steve,
Now my hose will not interfere with my e-chain... I hope to have the 96" rails and parts plus the chain by this weekend...
I remember saying to my wife, "48x48 will be bigger than I will ever need"
Yea Right!

hello,
I am tring to find out as much info as i can on cyclone dust collecter vent pipes,,,I just bought a 3hp 1650 cfm with 8" pipe on suction side..I am tring to hook it up..Someone said not to use 8"stove pipe,,because it would suck in where it is creased together...
What kind pipe to use ?? What size (Dia)pipe.??Where do u find it @ ?? Pricing???

Bryan,
A piece of duct tape down that seam will stop any air leakage. I've seen setups with everything from collapsible dryer hose, to PVC pipe.As long as you seal your venting pipes you should be fine... Go with what is locally available.....

I have put up pvc pipe for my 3hp cyclone chip evac,,how far do I need to run my copper wire in it ..can just running to the ends of the 6" pvc pipe runs be ok,,R does it need to go out through the 4"flex hose to each machine??I ground it to the chip evac machine on one end ,,does it need hooked to anything on the other end??
Thanks Bryan

I believe that it needs to be connected on both ends. I have a copper wire run thru my pipe and grounded to the carriage on one end and then to the dust collector on the other end.

do u think all of the other machines that the chip vac hoses goes to needs to be grounded with the copper wire??
Thanks Bryan
