I just got a Rumble pad 2 and I am stumped on setting it up. I looked at the old posts but I can not download the files are attached there. Also I thought that Jack Jarvis had a post that addressed this issue but I can't find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Jerry,

I had asked about how to set it up long ago because i was having problems and some kind soul (who i don't recall) sent me the small file to set it up. I will look for it for you but hopefully that same person will see this and have it readily.

I wish i could recall who it was that sent it to me, they deserve the credit!

I can't contribute a great deal to the discussion of using the rumble pad with the Shopbot software, but I would say that it certainly has great potential for you. I have been using the wireless rumblepad 2 with my shopbot/mach3 set up for something like a year and have been really happy with the performance and the convenience. I run keygrabber in between the rumble pad and the computer.

My machine will be running for about an hour, but when it pauses I'll grab my setup file for the rumblepad 2 and upload it.

Here is my rumblepad 2 file. Download it and rename to shopbot.xml then in your logitech program do a file/import.

Jerry,
There is an option in the Logitech menus to print out a list of the assigned control functions. Can't tell you exact menu as machine is busy again.

download kens shopbot file and install it. I had lost my logitech folder and went and got the logitech install files and then loaded kens shopbot.xml file and used it. I don't recall which button controlled which while i was out there but i do recall all the axis's worked. Other buttons were programmed to load files and other functions so try his file.

When you start up the logitech.exe the shopbot program can be started from there but also it gives you a visual diagram of what each button is programmed for.
