For my daughter's birthday I created a model of her house. I carved it in MDF and finished it with Sculpt Nouveau Bronze and added a cherry frame.
Nice job Phil! I like the look.

Are you kidding me? Thats MDF? WOW..The finishing job is fantastic. Tell me about the surface prep, did you just apply the SN or have to do anything special? good job.:)

Thanks Don and Jack. Prep work for sculpt nouveau is very simply. I brushed on two coats of water based polyurethane sanded lightly with a scotchbrite pad between coat. I followed up with two more coats after applying the sculpt nouveau for an added luster.

Nice job Phil ! I'm glad you chose this project to test the SN coating, because it really shows how you can keep detail, while gaining the feeling of mass...
