We've finished assembling and wiring our Single Phase PRSalpha 5' x 10' machine with 5 HP Columbo spindle. The control box has been correctly wired to our single phase power source, and the VFD is wired to the control box according to the supplied wiring diagram. For some reason our VFD will not power up. We pressed the reset button after powering up the control box and still nothing. The only time the VFD will power up is if the contactor for the white wire from the 24v power supply is forcibly pushed in and held. Has anyone had this issue? Any help would be most appreciated.

press ALT and 4 at the same time.
Then press alt 1 at the same time

This should light up outputs 4 and 1 on your control screen.
then push the start button on the control box.

If it's wired correctly the spindle should be active.

Normally this will happend when you run a file automatically, but if you just want to run the spindle, this should help.

If you have a spindle speed control board, this would be a little different.

Is the safety key on the front of the control box turned the right way?

Also....Make sure the brown 2-conductor wire from the VFD is going to the DCM & FWD terminals on the control board. Make sure it is going to Spindle #1 and not Spindle #2.
