I had just hooked my rumblepad back up and was using Ken Zeys customized file he posted.

I used the rumblepad to move the carriage to its 0,0 laid it next to the computer and I could see that it was going thru the software like it was out of control.

The best way to explain it is lets says you take your cursor and go to File, then scroll thru the menu. It was doing that only at high speed as if something was stuck.

I had to shut the software down and turn off the computer to get it to stop. It definitely had something to do with the rumblepad. No idea what caused that.

Jack,

Back when I was using mine, I found that I would have to cycle the joysticks throughout their motion range to get them centered, otherwise the axis that I moved with the joystick would keep on going. If you have something like "Tab" assigned to a joystick position, that could be the cause.

I think Scott has it. I alway move my joystick to the extents when I start up the pad - just habit now.

I set mine so everything is done on the buttons and direction pad. I don't use the sticks for anything because I could never remember to swirl them about at startup.

Not sure what all is required in this discussion, but one can program the buttons of these wireless mice to perform a keystroke... such as S, Q or R

Some will work from 30+ feet away.
