Columbo spindle bearings

Has anyone tried to replace the bearings on a Columbo spindle themselves.

I think I saw a post on this some time back but I can't seem to find it.

Any help would would be great.

Brady Watson wrote a thread or maybe a column on this a couple years ago. Nicely done and rich with both detail and pictures. I know I could find it with the old forum search engine, but couldnt today.
