They are introducing a motion technology to be able to operate functions without having to use the keyboard and i can see how we can use the same controls to operate the shopbot with motions associated with keystroke commands.

Watch the video and click the blue banner for a interactive trial, its pretty cool:

Someone walks up to you and asks where the bathroom is and with one sweeping motion you point to the other side of the shop...next thing you know the carriage is on the floor at the end of the table!

Five years in a row....you would think you would catch on by now...i'm going to have to work on a zinger for next year:rolleyes:

Didn't think that was your april fools post at first, but I just saw an unrelated parody of the gmail video and got the whole joke.

Should someone actually tie in G Motion with SB3 control, I have a few gestures and hand signals that I already use.

These are usually associated with machine actions I didnt expect like a lost comm error or loss of position for an unknown reason. Mostly use a single digit. Is this binary? Did I inadvertantly invent digital communication? Would Google accept my use of the same signal for almost every problem and initiate the proper machine action?

Careful what you wish for. :D

 How about a single loud voice command like (STOP). I use this often but the Bot doesn't understand.

How about having the machine stop when you reach out and try to stop it by hand instead if hitting the E-Stop
