I just finished building this wall shelf or cabinet if you want to call it that, as a display piece for my showroom.
The carcass is built from brown maple, with a fair bit of curl on the front half. The drawer fronts are barely spalted, blue stained, curly brown ambrosia maple.
The carcass is mounted to the wall with 6 screws into 3 different studs. The screws are concealed using pocket holes underneath the top, and the bottom.
The piece is finished with target coatings EM-1000 sealer, and EM 6000 waterborne spray lacquer. I will probably end up re-spraying the top in a few days since I ran out on the final coat :eek:
