Broken dig probe

I recently joined the broken probe club. After a few successful test runs, I managed to bend the probe and dislodge the control board inside of the plastic cylinder housing. I reglued it, making sure it was flush with the bottom.
Since the shaft that goes into the collet is plastic, I imagine that may have a bend in it.
Anyone with similar experience, or a suggestion?

I broke mine. I forgot to remove it from my spindle so guess what? Of course I haven't forgotten it since. I sent it back to ShopBot and they fixed it. That is what I would recommend.
