Hi,
Recently purchased hand carved furniture. The furniture includes 5-seat sofa, a Dinning table with 6-beautifully carved chairs (still in carving process with the vendor), One Dewan...
I am soon going to scan the carving and will share with those who are interested in carving and will show the carved results here.

khalid,
Let me know when you get it scanned and i'll experiment with cutting it on the bot. I doubt it will be as perfect as the original hand carving but we can give it a shot.

I want 2 b the 1st 2 c if i can cut this in 2d and 3d (...gary)

Khalid- Looks like a really fun project. Its the sort of thing my structured light approach is good at. Laser scanning is just a "one layer at a time" structured light approach also.

That is a project I need to get back on, but other things keep jumping in the way. I spent some time about a week ago picking parts for my next iteration, but have not bought them yet.

Looking forward to seeing your results!
