I ran a file and it took 6 hours 2 minute to complete, then I took the same file and ran a preview, it was 4 hours 37 minutes. Is there a way to tweak the software to get closer to the time it took to complete the file?

Have you got the same feed rates in the preview tool database as your job file does?

I am not sure where to put that info? What I am trying to do is set up a charge by the minute. And as you know they'll want the charge before they award the jub.

If you click on the Edit menu in the preview window then select Tool Database you can edit the speeds etc from there.

I don't use the preview that much so that's about as far as my knowledge goes though!

I changed the bit and speed, but, it did not help.
