When pocketing letters for signs what offset are others running?
I took a stab at .025" for 3" sign foam letters and it was real loose.
after priming and painting the sign they fit snug, the letters will be one shot gold so not much to add there. will this .025 still work for larger letters? and other materials?

Jerry,

I was just like you when I first started pocketing. I thought there was some kind of secret formula. I fussed and fiddled around getting everything to look so perfect. I had to carve away little area to make it all fit perfect.

Now I leave a nice border around my letters. The reason, it makes them look better. They now look like custom letters.

One little hint. If you don't start loosening up, when you get my age Metamucil will be on your food list. Give them some good old slack.
