UPS man brought me my replacment circuit board

Got home today to a shopbot box at the front door:D My replacement circuit board was well packed inside along with great photo instructions of exactly what to do. I popped open my control box and 15 minutes later I was cutting wood. I think ShopBot handled this situation great and it has only made me feel even better about my purchase.

as i recall you are new to shopbot. apparently you had something go wrong. i am so far out in the sticks i will always have to do my own repairs. what indications did you get that something was wrong.

Diane sent me an email letting me know that I had a control panel in a batch that may have had the wrong capacitors installed along with instructions and photos of what to check. I did indeed have the wrong capacitors so I called support and they shipped me a replacement along with great instructions on how to effect the swap. I doubt this affected many machines - I think just standards produced in May of this year.
