Custom table on one of our boats

Here are some pictures of a custom table we installed on one of our boats. The inlays are Wenge and Maple and the rest of the table is Cherry. We V-carved all of the inlays. It was a bit of a challenge getting the guys in the shop to believe the shopbot was up to the task but the end result was great.

Thanks. We are working on it. We use it at least 20 hours a week cutting mostly plywood and formica but have ben branching out into some 3D work and some inlay work like this table. Definitely learning as we go!

This is a typical 42 footer we build. We have similar models as small as 29 feet and our largest is 52 feet (at least for right now).

The ShopBot is just another excellent tool amongst fine craftsmen and shipwrights... The Table is another perfect example of the quality work you and your crew put out... I am not much of a sailor, per say, but I am very impressed with attention to the fine details of the vessels you have produced.... Keep up the good work.. and posting pics as we all can pick up a tip or two I am sure.. I would be very interested to see other applications for the ShopBot that you use in the boatbuilding process... this would be very helpful for my own little project....
